Part 1: Blog Post & Participation Greetings everyone! Thank you for reading my blog post about Global warming. I hope these educational posts have expanded your knowledge about the topic. Furthermore have motivated you to advocate for the fight against global warming. In a survey conducted in 2021, it was found that 60% of the population believed that global warming has become an important topic (Tyson et. al, 2020). With the increasing risk of global warming causing irreversible changes, this percentage may increase greatly. Intervention is needed to fight global warming. It will take a national effort to reduce the damage of global warming. To take action in your community there are multiple cost-effective ways that you can incorporate into your daily lifestyle. Utilizing these efforts as a nation is a step in the right direction. Together the earth can be saved. It takes small actions to conquer the end goal. Below are lifestyle changes that can be used. Lend a hand to save the planet

Part 1:    Intervention for Global Warming should be a worldwide priority for the human population. Without intervention, the world is risking inevitable damage. The changes in the environment are changing at an alarming rate. Getting involved can help advocate for the importance of Global Warming. Partnering with national and/or local organizations can help the planet.  The United Nations,(UN), is a national organization fighting against global warming and climate change. The organization has been educating people on the importance of saving the planet since 1945 (UN,2022). They share how beneficial it is to save energy and create a clean environment to live in. Their main goal is to have peace, dignity, and equality on a healthy planet (UN,2022). A local organization in Dallas county is the Dallas people climate. This organization was created to fight against global warming, particularly in the Dallas county area(DPC,2021). The primary goal of the organization ad...

Global Warming continues to be a risk Module 3 Blog Post

Global Warming continues to affect the climate worldwide. The increasing rate of global warming has shown the harsh effects of the earth’s temperature rise. It is expected to continue to cause dangerous weather such as extreme heat and cold temperatures. To prevent major health and weather events the temperature has to be at 1.5 celsius. Every increased tenth degree will pose a high risk to people’s health. Unfortunately, the rise of global warming will undo the progress of global health and poverty reduction (WHO,2021). It is expected between the years 2030 and 2050, climate change will cause over 250,000 deaths per year due to malnutrition, malaria, and heat stress. To combat global warming, it will take national support to decrease the harmful impact. Some possible ideas to decrease the temperature would be to reduce greenhouse gases by implementing better transport and improving energy choices (WHO,2021). These simple corrections can decrease the amount of air pollution...

What is global warming Blog Post 2

Global Warming is the long-term warming of the temperature of the planet. The warming continued to increase due to population increase and the burning of fossil fuels. The increased burning of fossil fuels has caused the greenhouse effect in the Earth’s atmosphere. This effect is essentially the heat being unable to leave the earth’s atmosphere. Excess heat is what causes the global temperature to rise.   This environmental issue is important to public health because of its effect on climate change. Global warming has initiated changes in weather patterns and seasons worldwide. The sea level has begun to rise along with increasing temperatures. These major changes are a threat to human life because of the risk of flooding and drastic weather. The main issue is that drastic weather changes can include harsh temperatures and increased hurricanes and tornadoes. Below are the average summer temperatures over the next decade. The temperatures are progressively worse in each ...
